Here is a question for you to think about:

When talking about past time / routines / habits etc, what is the difference between past simple, “used to” and “would+base”?

If you cannot remember, then email Lee and he will explain!

Student stories
Student Focus on Pavita Pavita Taetrongjit (back row on the right) was a Pre University student in the summer of 2014. When she wasn’t studying, she was often seen running around the streets of Broadstairs and Margate with the Director of Studies When she left us she went to the University of Kent to study a Masters in Management and International Business. In November 2016 we received the fantastic news that she passed her course with a “Merit”. Congratulations Pavita!

“Hilderstone  is the first place where I studies English properly. The teachers and staff offered not only knowledge but also care and friendship. I met many lovely people - from my country and from around the world. It was a great experience and the friendships remain. When people ask me where is a good school, I say that Hilderstone is not just a school, it is a great place to start your UK experience.

If you have a student story you would like to share - please email us with a photograph and a short description of what you are doing now!
