Certificate in Advanced English
(CAE)
The Certificate in Advanced
English offers a high level qualification to those wishing
to use English in their jobs. The emphasis in the examination
is on the development of skills that will be required
in the world of work, so the skills tested and materials
used in the examination reflect real-world tasks.
The cost of the CAE examination is approximately £112.
First Certificate in English
(FCE)
The First Certificate in English
is the most widely taken of the Cambridge examinations.
This is an intermediate level examination in which successful
candidates are able to operate effectively in English
in many secretarial and managerial posts. This qualification
is also recognised world-wide in commerce and industry
as well as by universities and other institutions.
The cost of the FCE examination is approximately £108.

Entry Requirements
Before you are accepted onto a Cambridge
Examination course, we will send you a test to assess your
English and advise you on the best examination for your level.
The FCE is suitable for intermediate level students. The CAE
is for upper intermediate to advanced level students.
When do the exams take place?
Cambridge examinations take place twice a year, in June and December. A third date is sometimes offered in March.
